Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

1. Who is responsible

Euxora is the trade name of an independent professional (an individual, not a company) who provides web development services from Costa Rica. That person is responsible for the processing of the data described in this policy and can be reached at [email protected].

2. Data we collect

Data you give us voluntarily through the contact form or by email:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The service you are interested in
  • The details you include in your message

Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting and network providers (see section 5) process data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use it to build profiles about you.

Usage data (only if you accept): if you accept analytics, Google Analytics records in aggregate how the site is used, for example pages viewed, device and browser type, country and whether the form was submitted. We do not send your name, your email or the content of your message to Analytics.

3. What we use it for

We use the form data only to answer your inquiry, prepare a proposal and communicate with you about your project. We do not use it to send newsletters or promotions. If we ever offer a newsletter, it will be a separate subscription that you must expressly accept.

Providing your data is voluntary, but without your name and email we cannot reply to you.

4. Consent

By sending the form you agree that we use your data for the purposes in section 3. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to [email protected].

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. To run this site we use the following providers, which may process data on servers outside Costa Rica, including in the United States:

  • Resend: delivers the email generated by the contact form.
  • Vercel: hosts the site.
  • Google (Google Analytics): site analytics, only if you accept it.
  • Cloudflare: DNS, content delivery network, security and aggregate visit statistics (Web Analytics), which according to its documentation works without cookies.

We may also share data when a competent authority requires it by law.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The first time you visit we show a notice so you can accept or reject analytics. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookie is set. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies, and Google signals and ad personalization are turned off.

  • Necessary (always on, no personal data): your light or dark theme preference and your scroll position when you switch language, kept in your browser storage, plus your own cookie choice (key "euxora-consent").
  • Analytics (only if you accept): the Google Analytics cookies "_ga" and "_ga_" followed by an identifier, which tell visitors apart anonymously and last up to two years.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, and delete the data from your browser settings. If you reject or withdraw analytics, we delete the Analytics cookies of this site. Google may process this data on servers outside Costa Rica, including in the United States.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your inquiry for as long as it is needed to reply to you and, if we work together, for the duration of the business relationship and as legal obligations such as invoicing require. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

8. Your rights

Under Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your data, and withdraw your consent, by writing to [email protected]. If you believe your rights have not been met, you may go to the Agency for the Protection of Data of the Inhabitants (Prodhab).

9. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to the data we receive is limited to the owner of the business. No system is infallible, but we apply reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date shows the latest version.
